mothúchán fiáin

wind spun the leaves

like a creaky weather vane

wispy clouds wrapped the blue

like cotton cellophane

_

bumblebee was kissing a gardenia

wishing she could fly

he could show his friends

a flower of the sky

_

bluebirds from the thicket

their azure flutter

doe licked her fawn

sun hit the earth like butter
