fíochmhar

i saw the crimson spirit fly

in gnashing winter moons

wild and giggling cherubs fell

crushed their silver spoons

sad the silent dagger

so sliced mistress chance

when the fouler storms

no quarter from the dance

sail hard the blow

lashed to the mast

be still inside the spray

intrepid bones hold fast
